GLOBAL BOOK AND EBOOK DISTRIBUTION

At last it's possible for authors of any genre to have their books distributed and sold worldwide! You can choose to have your title distributed in print or ebook or both.

Enjoy true publishing freedom and control with Print On Demand (POD) and ebook distribution, and have your books available from over 30,000 wholesalers, retailers and booksellers in over 100 countries.

Taking advantage of this online method of distribution for either your print book, an ebook, or both, will launch your books to the world market and ensure they are for sale 24/7. Should a customer want to purchase one of your books in Europe, not a problem! No matter where you are in the world if schools or libraries in the US, or Australia, or the UK or... want a zillion of your books, no worries! And (apart from marketing) you don't have to lift a finger to make it happen. You don't have to buy stock. You don't have to worry about postage or shipping; it's all taken care of for you! And you'll earn your full royalty on each and every sale, paid directly to your bank account.

Have you ever purchased a book from Amazon or one of the similar online stores? If so that is exactly how this system will work for your overseas sales.

Publicious has been chosen as a preferred publishing provider by one of the world's largest book distributors, so with access to POD printers in the USA, the UK, Europe, and Australia, your book can be printed at the time of purchase (one book at a time) at a location closest to the customer and shipped directly to the customer's door at the customer's expense. We can also print quantities of books overseas if required.

Important: with POD and ebook distribution, you, as the publisher of your book, will retain full publishing rights, maintain complete control over your titles and earn 100% royalties after costs! (see below). With Publicious you will never be asked to sign away your rights or your earnings. Their are no contracts, everything will remain in your name.

Here's How it Works

Print on Demand (POD)

Print on Demand (POD)

With this distribution model, your printed book will be for sale on most of the major online bookstores such as Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Booktopia, and Fishpond etc.

Here is the breakdown formula used to determine a POD royalty amount:

Recommended Retail Price (RRP) to be set by author
Minus 10% tax (GST Australian sales only. Sales tax does not apply for US, UK and Europe etc)
= list price
Minus discount 55% (bookstores' mark-up)
= Wholesale price (RRP minus discount)
Minus print cost (deducted from w/sale value above)
= Net royalty for self-published author.
(we will work closely with you to determine your RRP and provide you with your unique breakdown)

Authors receive, a detailed sales statement (when sales are made the previous month) in their inboxes at the beginning of the following month as a PDF email attachment listing the number of books sold in the previous month. Royalty payments are transferred directly into their bank accounts (payments from overseas sales are converted to your currency in line with current exchange rates at the time of payment). No need to worry about invoicing, posting books overseas, or overseas tax issues. Everything is taken care of for you.

Publishing Tip: we recommend that you also have some stock for your book launch and marketing tasks such as signings, talks, and reviews etc (we've got you covered there too, see here for more information about our high quality and competitive short-run and offset print options). You will need to do as much as you can to market your book. The above distribution model is designed to work hand-in-hand with the hard work that you are willing to put in and will tick over for as long as you want to sell your books for. No sell-by-dates, no returns, no worries!
